Diagnosis Sepsis Neonatal

Sepsis adalah respon sistemik terhadap infeksi yang disebabkan oleh bakteri, virus, jamur,
protozoa atau ricketsia. Insiden sepsis pada neonatus rendah yaitu 1-8 perseribu kelahiran
hidup, namun angka kematian lebih dari 20-50 % kasus. Tidak ada satupun pemeriksaan
tunggal laboratorium yang dapat dipakai untuk diagnosis sepsis neonatal. Skor hematologi
Rodwell dan atau pemeriksaan imunologi sIL2R dapat dipakai sebagai alat diagnostik
sepsis neonatal.
